Need some insight on corrupted windows files

Hello, I would just like some insight on what could’ve happened to my computer

For about a couple of months now I’ve been getting a memory management error for the last 2 months, I have done everything I can by checking event viewer to see what the main issues and it came up with the ID code of 41, I did a scan on my pc to check and came up with corrupted files and it claimed that it fixed the files.

I did a stress test and it came out completely fine, and I thought I was not having any problems when it came to the memory management anymore

Until the next day I decided to swap out my 2070 super for my 2080 TI.

It booted up completely normal and once I put in my password all of a sudden windows completely crashed.

It gave me driver errors and then Windows corrupted files error. It refused to uninstall any updates on the troubleshoot menu as well as trying to install the backup windows that was literally last month.

My pc is currently at tech support shop as i personally couldn’t do a fresh install of windows.

Was there any type of way I could have prevented this or was it just a bomb waiting to happen as the memory/corrupted files is a common issue?

My SSD is not corrupted and all data is safe!
