Do you think Survivor can return to its prime?

When I talk about "prime," I'm thinking of legendary season runs like 15–20.

In recent years, we’ve had a few good seasons like DvsG, 46, or even 50 for the first few episodes.

But we’ve never had a run of four or five very high-quality seasons that the majority of fans enjoyed.

For those who would cite the sequence 45-46-47, I disagree I find 45 and 47 rather weak.

Do you think the production will be able to return to a formula that works with the fans ? or should we just resign ourselves to the situation?
Because i´m not sure the production have the same vision as me about why i watch the show. I prefer the players to be in control, rather than having twists create artificial turnarounds that screw over certain castaways just to surprise us (bloodmoon twist, Jimmy fallon, New merge system…)

Personally, I’m gradually losing my passion for the show… and it makes me sad because it means a lot to me. Right now, I’m not hyped about the "Open Era" and am just waiting for the returnee seasons to see the end of story arc and watch my favorites one last time. Like I really watched 50 only for Colby, Coach, Cirie and Ozzy.

Who is your favorite random castaway ?

Mine is Ryan O from pearl island.

It was the first season I watched, he has the same job as me. And his story with the pelican made me laugh so much same when he strips naked to support Osten during the first challenge.

So I started rooting for him and now he has a special place in my heart of Survivor fan

If Survivor did another captains season who would you want to see ?

I was thinking that in the "open era" we should have captains seasons so I came up with a few pairings and trios I'd dream to see face off

Dom vs Wendell
Devens vs Christian
Colby vs Jerry
The Amanda Kimmel vs Parvati vs Cirie (or two of them)
JT vs Stephen
Coach vs Tyson
Maria vs Charlie
Sham vs Ricard
Malcolm vs Denise
Carson vs Carolyn
Terry vs Aras
Kass vs Spencer
Yul vs Ozzy
Coach vs Ozzy again

I'm not against having random matchups like when Coach faced Ozzy in South Pacific even though they had never played together before

It’s the Amanda Kimmel’s birthday do you want to see her come back? Do you think she can adapt to the new game?

I know her birthday because mine was yesterday, and she is the survivor whose birthday is closest to mine.
Of course I want to see her come back, and I know she was part of the Season 50 discussions, but deep down I’m afraid she’ll flop and won’t be able to adapt to the new gameplay.
thoughts ?

We all agree that Cirie is the best to never win but who is the second best to never win ?

Personally, I'm thinking at first of Amanda, Dom and Spencer.
If we just talk about Strategy Russell obviously.
Maybe Malcom, Andrea, Jesse, Genevieve have arguments.

Am I the only one who finds Michelle overrated?

I saw on TikTok someone put her in 6th place all-time.
I admit she is very strong socially and played her FTC well.
But she never dominated the game, never Made a big strategic move.
In Winners at War, she’s truly a goat who gets zero votes in the finale.
In Kaoh Rong, she benefits from a bitter jury that doesn't want to see Aubry win even though she dictated the play.

Explain to me what makes Michelle impressive for you because i don’t get it.
