This weekend I've been invited to a beer festival/brewery event with a friend although they know I don't drink nor can I have gluten but they invited me to hang out with them. If I don't drink or eat anything, is there any risk of me being glutened? Or should I avoid the event all together? I get very anxious/paranoid about being glutened (I've so far avoided it for the 6 years I've been diagnosed) but I'm keen to hang out with said friends. Just want to know if anyone else has gone to a similar event and if they got glutened. I'm worried about barley and such being in the air and being exposed to gluten with everyone drinking beer but maybe I'm overreacting.
