First thing I want to mention is how good this game still looks. Sure there’s some parts that definitely look a little dated, but overall the game is stunning and is a visual masterpiece. The musical score is still just as good as I remember too.

But replaying this game, just really drives home what was missing for me in the newer games (which I also love). The huge cinematic moments and set pieces. We get moments of it in the newer games, like the dragon scene with Baldur in 2018, but GOW3 is just nonstop fucking crazy epic moments.

I know some people complained about the quick time events, but I LOVE them. Sure it’s not the most innovative gameplay design, but the visual spectacle of those moments are what really makes the game for me. I wish we had gotten more of that in the newer games.

I’m one of the people who’s not totally sold on Laufey yet (I’ll still definitely be playing it), but man, I’m beyond hyped for the trilogy remake now.

It’s true. I know Israel is our “ally” and Iran is the “enemy”. But never once have I felt there was an actual chance the Iranian government could try to harm me personally. I don’t feel like they even have the capability to do something like that. I can’t say the same for Israel.

Without bringing up conspiracy theories, I’ve read the stories of what Mossad does. I’ve seen the Israeli prime minister say “kill them first”. And the fact that I’ve made posts criticizing and/or talking shit about Israel, only to later look on Google Trends and find out that my name and address were searched in Israel recently. Why are people in Israel searching my name and address? How did they even get that information from an anonymous Reddit account? I’m not that interesting of a person to begin with.

It’s honestly really concerning, and somewhat threatening. Does nobody else worry about this kind of thing? I shouldn’t have to be concerned that one of our ALLY’S governments might try to hurt me, or any other American for that matter.

Thoughts? Am I just schizo? Or does anyone else feel the same?
