Signal Apprentice
I applied for a signal apprentice opening for BNSF. I am currently a conductor and have been for almost 2 years with BNSF. Is giving up what little seniority I have worth maybe getting a job in a different craft?
I have read that the signal/maintainer field is the “best job on the railroad”.
I was just wondering on how the work / home life is compared to TYE. I’m used to being on call so that part of the job doesn’t bother me but I have seen you can have different work schedules like 8 on 6 off and so forth.
Thanks for all the info!
