Ejector location in bolt ejector slot - measuring?
I recently got a new upper w/BCG; it's been having some issues with jams when firing 2-3 shots - empty case gets lost inside the upper, interfering with the bcg. This is my 3rd 9mm upper -- the other two uppers do not have this issue? Using a bolt from one of the other two uppers, the ejector is in the correct orientation to the ejector slot.

I am attempting to communicate with the vendor to get a replacement bolt, but want to be definitive about the problem -- e.g. "The BCG ejector slot is XX high vs. the ..." -- so what should I measure (I've got a micrometer), and what should I say? They didn't the the pictures I sent were definitive, and their lowers that go with these have an adjustable ejector. Yes, I could bend my fixed ejector to make it work, however then it would NOT work with the other two lowers (it's that far off).
