I recently made a post asking for recommendations on aftermarket magazines for the GForce Jawbone in .45 ACP, but I ended up going with the 9mm version instead. Due to magazine compatibility & availability.

I’m curious to hear from anyone who owns or has experience with the 9mm Jawbone. How has yours been holding up? Any reliability issues or things I should look out for?

I already know there are factory magazines available, but I’m interested in hearing about any aftermarket magazine options that people have actually tested and had good experiences with.

Also, what upgrades or accessories would you recommend for this platform? Any tips for a new Jawbone owner are appreciated.

Having some failure to feed issues using a colt adapter

Took a slow mo video and these are the relevant frames. I know more than likely the fees ramp needs to be adjusted, it may be a dumb question but from what you see here would you say it needs to be higher or lower? Dremel the side or bottom of the ramp? Any suggestions appreciated.

Also yes I did adjust the ejector per blowback9’s recommendations and that solved 99% of FTE issues. This FTF has been more prevalent recently.

I’m looking into picking up a GForce .45 ACP and wanted to hear from people who actually own one and have experience with them.

From what I understand, they come with KCI or Amend2 24-round .45 ACP magazines. I’m curious how well those hold up long-term and whether anyone has experienced feeding, fitment, or reliability issues.

I already own Glock .45 ACP magazines and know those are an option, but I’m interested in exploring other aftermarket solutions as well. I’ve heard of brands like ETS, but I’m looking for something reputable and reliable rather than just buying extra capacity.

For those of you running one, what magazines have you tried, and which would you recommend? Are there any brands you’d avoid or compatibility issues I should know about?

Also, for those familiar with both versions, would you recommend going with the .45 ACP or the 9mm GForce? Is the .45 ACP version a solid, reliable PDW, or would I be better off going with the 9mm in terms of overall reliability, magazine availability, and practicality?

I’m interested in hearing real-world experiences with both calibers before making my decision. Appreciate any input!

If you’ve ever considered a BRT CAR15SD upper - they’re AMAZING!!!

CMMG radial delayed, fixed-ejector upper with a ported barrel. Making 115gr 9mm subsonic AND so soft and flat to shoot!! And stupidly quiet!

I had been using a Kynshot 5007 in an A5 tube until I discovered that u/amphibian-c3junkie helped them develop and recently release the 5000A5.

The marketing says the 5000A is meant to help reduce gas in underpowered setups like radial delay. Usually I think, “marketing gimmick” - holy shit this thing REALLY reduces gas blowback to the operator and puts it out the blast end of the suppressor.

Previously the ‘worst’ part of the BRT SD setup was it being gassier to the operator than 147’s and a can. Not any more - this new buffer really does what it claims; substantially so!!

I will say the CAR15 SD requires the most precise tuning and ammo selection of my frt guns. But once you find what works for your system, it’s also absolutely the best.

That is, until my true mp5sd arrives in a couple of weeks!!

BRT upper paired w/ a Wolfman and slapped on a Sabre ambi lower w/ endo mag inserts. Shooting 115gr and sounding like subs is awesome!!! 👏

I was finally able to assemble my AR9 after months of ordering parts and indecision. I probably wouldn't have proceeded without all of the valuable information provided by blowback9 and this sub. Thanks!! Currently working on adjusting the ejector in the r&d adapter per the tips on this sub.

I got this lower but the parts that came with it were lost. I could not find a kit that used this shape on the mag extractor or the ejector. I believe it should take Glock mags. Any help will be appreciated.

I just swapped the BA EPC 11” out for the Novox Research SD kit and I’ll try to shoot it this weekend. The grip panels and KAG probably won’t work unless mounted further back.

I have the MG7K 358 for it or I might look for a different PCC can.

I'm building my first AR9 (have built AR15's before) and plan to install a FlowFire LS device. I'm using an AR-15 lower so I will need a magazine well adapter for Glock magazines. Here's the issue...I would like to use a Foxtrot Mike upper and bolt, the reason being I don't have to modify the bolt. I DID learn on Blowback9.com that the FM bolt requires the extractor that is shaped like an "A" with an angled ramp on the backside (as opposed to extractor shaped like sideways "L")

Can anybody recommend a 9mm magazine adapter with such an extractor? If not, I'm thinking I can't use an FM bolt. I MUST be able to use a regular AR lower, and I hope to use Glock magazines as they are a lot more common. Thanks for ANY help!

PS: I would also be open to using a magazine such as an Exomag (fits into a stock AR15 lower and holds 9mm ammo) but am unsure of how the extractor works.
