Feeding problem
I have sometimes feeding problems. Could the uneven part of the feeding cane be a problem ?

A couple changes to a junkyard build. Got the form1 back so I swapped from an H&R brace to an RRA Entry Stock. Added a PA 2.5 prism, and threw on a VTAC sling I had.
-Required build list-
PSA lower + milspec lpk
CProducts mag adapter
No Name SS
KVP PCC buffer
RRA Entry Stock
VTAC sling
VDD slick side upper
Mystery carry handle
Tacfire bolt
BA 8.3 barrel
Mystery fsb/handguard
PA 2.5 prism
This thing is awesome! I have had a couple feed issues and a couple dead triggers so I'm wondering if it's just an ammo thing or if I need to adjust something or just break it in more.
Thank you Blowback9 for all the info you've given that I used for this build. Tons of compliments on how it shoots from others too.
Ammo I've used most of is Ammo Inc 124g. (Yeah I know, not the greatest stuff but it works.)

where could I find an ar45/10mm compatible lower without having to ship to a ffl ?
Hey y'all, lefty here. Didn't have any issues with my new Banshee until I put the CAT MOB suppressor on, now I feel like I'm getting lightly sandblasted with blowback on every round. Tried Federal HST, CCI Blazer, and Speer, all 147gr. No difference. Is this just my life now?

Last I checked it was like 40$ for one spring. Anyone start selling the leesprings any cheaper?
anyone else had problems tuning their broad river tactical SD? I’ve got the carbine buffer, yellow spring and an arc fire. a lot of nose diving into the chamber. struggles to frt more than a couple rounds at a time. runs great with hot defensive ammo but can’t get it to run on range 115gr 124gr and even full house 124gr nato. I also tried an RB and an atrius frs. FRS didn’t run at all. RB behaved a lot like the arc fire that’s in it now.

It is with much info and inspiration gleaned from perusing this sub (special thanks to Mr. Blowback9 for sharing his wealth of knowledge) that I endeavored to build and now present The "Silver Dollar", a two stamp integrally suppressed 9x19 blaster! It was a fun and challenging little project that turned out to be fairly inexpensive thanks to $0 tax stamps. Was going for a corroded metal look with the paint job. And best of all, the cub approves! 😸
Components:
- Aero Precision M4E1 receivers (form 1 SBR)
- KVP bolt and 10 oz modified buffer
- Alpha Shooting Sports 5.25" barrel
- Angstadt flash hider (pending delivery)
- Strike Industries flat wire spring, buffer tube, charging handle and controls
- Extar EP9 rubber bump-stop
- PWS ratcheting castle nut/end plate
- Magpul MOE SL stock and K2 grip
- Anderson Mfg fire control group
- Mean Arms Exomag w/ejector
- Meprolight RDS Pro V2
- Form 1 reflexed suppressor, 16 baffles
- Rust-Oleum forged hammered antique pewter spray paint
A few notes on the can: foundation is a tubular handguard with barrel nut modified to provide a gas seal at the rear. Baffle stack is alternating baffles and spacers on 3 support rods mounted to a muzzle flange that provides axial constraint. Radial constraint is provided by the tube. Baffle aperture is a generous 0.5" to reduce back pressure and allow for some slop in alignment and the muzzle flange is ported for expansion into the reflexed volume.
I'd done some tweaking to my CMMG-lower/FM9-upper Colt-pattern build. Finally got it running consistently .. EXCEPT it would misfeed with two rounds remaining. They were preban stick mags with the mag catch cut, and all three would do the same thing.
With two rounds remaining, one would feed and one would half eject. Tried with ten rounds in the mag, four rounds in, six rounds in ... always did the same thing with two rounds left.
Any suggestions? Mag lips? New springs? Feed ramp?

Always wanted a PCC. Was gonna get a Kuna when I found the DD for a couple hundred bucks more. Love this gun, it feeds any and everything. All I need now is a suppressor and a better optic. Going Rugged Sub9 for the suppressor. Thinking AEMS or 512c for the dot… which one would y’all go with?
Was looking for one for a while finally found it in stock at RichmandTactical. Don’t have any equipment to test the sound but with 115gr it sounded really good, waiting on more ammo to see how it sounds next to a regular AR9. Only a quick trip only 100 rounds but 0 malfunctions had Remington herters and Winchester all feed fine didn’t do any defense ammo yet just wanted to put some rounds down range.

A few months ago I posted on here about my build and was using the standard R&D colt mag adapter with PSA lower. I did the snake bite mod and properly adjusted my ejector, but kept running into problems.
No matter how hard I tried to secure the adaptor it would always slide up with inserting a mag with the slightest amount of force. I eventually gave up on it and decided to give the spikes lower a shot. And man am I happy I did. This thing ran great right out of the box. I even contacted spikes to get a second ejector as a backup, if I ended up adjusting mine wrong. Well I guess I got lucky, because out of the box even with the ejector not perfect, this thing has run flawlessly suppressed and unsuppressed. Both the C product and metal form mags feed and fit great. LRBHO has worked on everything, and I’m finally happy to have an AR9 that can run with a little abuse.
If you’re thinking of making a colt mag style I highly recommend just spending a little bit of money and getting a dedicated lower.
...So I decided to do my first AR9.
First few mags had failures to eject, 1 or 2 about every ten rounds. Ejector position was reasonable, but found the IDL bolt had no insert or o-ring on the extractor. Replaced the extractor spring with a BCM and added the insert, and so far so good! Needs some more rounds to call it absolutely reliable, but a great start!
Recoil feels really good, no worse than a 5.56, and better than my apparently over gassed midlength 16".
So far using 17 and 27 round Magpul, and 31 round SGM mags, no issues on that front.

These have been on a number of ARs, and are usually placeholders for something better. They just keep ticking, so this might be their permanent home 😆
