[Hobby] Looking for Unity devs for a single-player VR horror game
Hey, I’m looking for a few people to help with a Unity VR horror game I’m working on as a hobby project.
The game is a single-player VR survival horror game set in a remote mountain weather station during a massive snowstorm. The player is stuck there alone and has to keep the station running by repairing equipment, managing power and heat, checking cameras/radar, and going outside during short storm breaks to fix damaged systems. As the game goes on, it becomes clear that something is outside in the snow and getting closer.
This is not a paid position. I’m looking for people who want experience, credit, portfolio work, or just want to help make a small indie VR project.
Right now, I’m mainly looking for help with Unity coding, VR interactions, simple enemy AI, UI, lighting, environment design, optimization, and gameplay systems. The plan is to keep the scope realistic and start with a small playable demo first instead of trying to build a huge game right away.
You don’t have to be a professional, but you should know the basics of Unity and be able to contribute.
Anyone who helps will be credited in the game.
If you’re interested, please comment with what you can help with, your Unity experience, and any past work or examples if you have them.
