I’ve been trying to get the sims 4 updater from the mirror anadius site to work for a couple of days and I’ve run into a small issue, after doing most of the required steps I’ve gotten this error(shown in screenshots) and I have no idea what it might mean.
I’m using the steam deck if that makes much of a difference

Every time I put in the commands in the setup Linux terminal I get this error I saw someone saying something about not running it as sudo I have no clue what means if there is another way to get them or a fix for that can anyone let me know I’ve been at this for hours with no fix and I’m about to just give up😭😭🙏🙏
I don’t want to have to redownload all my Sims data😔 if I can how do I do it it’s probably not as simple as just plugging it in
