Dating on Wellbutrin
Hi all. I (37F) started taking Wellbutrin in February to help with focus and depression. I had read about the side effect of increased libido when I started and then forgot about it.
Fast forward and I'm realizing, oh my god, it happened to me and that this man I just started dating now thinks I'm sex fiend 😳. We started talking about six months ago and then spent a few weeks together in April (we live in different cities). I felt such an intense physical attraction to him, something that I've never felt before. I was really surprised by how extreme my attraction was. We basically spent three weeks locked in the bedroom.
Now I'm back home, the sex daze is wearing off a bit and I realized ... oh no. Is this the Wellbutrin libido bump that I heard about?? Have I started off on totally unsustainable footing with this man who now thinks I demand sex multiple times a day? 😭 I'm not sure how to proceed or if setting more realistic expectations will be possible now.
