I’ve always wanted to go to a T40+ universities but I think I genuinely I have no shot. I had a HORRIBLE sophomore year (1 F, 2 D+, and 1 C) due to my horrible mental health + my sisters attempts. I’m a junior and I’ve gotten straight As since (also in freshman year), and my class is not competitive since I’m still in the top decile (we don’t do exact placements) with a 3.75uw and 4.2w.
I participate in many ECs and activities that I think are T40+ worthy (started a nonprofit that has net $39,000+, board member, volunteer, debate captain, and more) and a 35 ACT but I think I have no chance because of my GPA and my life is over. I know I’m not a dumb student but since I was so depressed last year I feel like I gave up my shot at going to a good college. And I don’t want to go to a CC because it feels like I wasted all of my life doing activities and practicing for the ACT just to go to CC.
Idk what to do and let me know if you have any advice. I desperately need it
