Someone please tell me how you approach milk storage. We combo feed 2:1 formula to milk as baby isn’t getting enough from just breast milk. As of this morning, I had ~10 oz in the fridge as of this morning, most of which was pumped yesterday, with a few ounces from the day prior that. husband is having a little bit of anxiety with that much milk in the fridge and being able to use it up in four days. I’ll only consolidate milk from the same day.

Baby is going on five weeks, I pump every 2-4 hours (full time student going into finals + still trying to get out of the house for things). I get anywhere from 1.5oz to 3oz per 30min session. I’ve been using a wearable pump (paruu p16) as my primary for the moment as my insurance has been sending me in circles regarding my coverage and getting a proper pump (spectra— which as of today has finally shipped and is expected within the week).

I’ll be trying to increase supply after finals are done. Baby has been pushing 3-4 oz feeds the past few days so I /think/ it’s worth doing soon.

With all that, needless to say, I’m not sure how to store milk in an efficient, not wasteful manner that will alleviate my husband’s anxiety but still allow us to use it effectively for combo feeding.
