Hi! I just moved and saw a new dentist. I have a cavity and was surprised at the bill, and the code not covered at all by my insurance. It is D9910 Desensitizing Medication, and it is $150! Can anyone help me understand what that is? When I asked the front desk person, she said it is not Novocain but the dentist won’t fill the cavity without it. I haven’t agreed to the procedure yet. Thanks!
