I have a friend who I have multiple college classes with. I do attendance for her, I share homework with her, we eat lunch after class together, and I thought we were really close. We were supposed to travel abroad together, but she just told me the other day she changed her mind. She now has tried to force my friend (not her friend) out of her lease for the next year so that she can have a place to live. I told her this was unkind (first time we’ve ever disagreed) and she has been telling our other friends lies saying I talk badly about all of them, when I have never spoken about them. She also spoke to a girl I used to be close with, asking if I ever made her uncomfortable, to which this girl said no. I have other friends, separate from these people, and honestly don’t know if it’s worth my energy at this point. Should I confront her for this, or should I simply ignore it? (she doesn’t know I know she said this to my past friend)
