Redness and skin tone improvement?

My skin is super sensitive so I asked my Korean friend to recommend some gentle products. She told me about Illiyoon and Etude SoonJung. I went with the cuter-looking Etude SoonJung cream and I've been using it for about 2 months lol.
No breakouts, no irritation at all, so I was just using it without thinking much. But today I looked in the mirror and noticed my redness has calmed down a lot and my skin tone looks brighter? I'm not sure if it's because my barrier is getting stronger, but it definitely feels improved.
I thought it might help other people with sensitive skin too so here's my before and after!
