XSR Legacy adjustable brake and clutch levers?

Hi everyone I picked up a brand new legacy edition yesterday, absolutely in love with it however I’ve found now that I can get out on it properly that I feel like I’m really having to reach for the levers which is not particularly comfortable or confidence inspiring. I know the stock doesn’t have adjustment on it but wondered if anyone could recommend some adjustable levers that work with the xsr?

TIA

What is seen as 'beginner bike(s)' in the UK?

New to riding so please bear with me on this one

I've been going down a YouTube hole on bike reviews and bike content from the likes of Revzilla, Omni and Yammienoob just to learn a bit more about 'stuff' - however a lot of the reviews from the US content creators talk a lot about beginner bikes such as the Yamaha R3 being a really good starter. That being said, license requirements from what I understand are very different in the US to the UK, obviously we do our CBT then move up, but in the US it seems to be you can do a test (MSF?) and then just jump on whatever you want to.

So my question is, what is a 'beginner' bike for those of us who have say 12/18 months experience on a 125, would it still be something like an R3 or Ninja 500? Or would something with a bit more grunt like an R7 or a CB650R etc. be a suitable step up as a 'beginner'?

I appreciate everyone's experience and confidence level etc. varies but just want to get an idea for the UK equivalent of 'this would be a great beginner bike' without hampering myself by going for something underpowered and then immediately wanting to move up

Thanks in advance!

New biker - what things to buy that a newbie overlooks?

As the title says I'm just looking for some advice really on the less obvious things that will help me day to day and get me from A to B. I've just pushed the button on an XSR125 which arrives next month and I'm counting the days down like a kid at Christmas. I've bought the obvious safety gear; Helmet, gloves, jacket, jeans and boots. But what else do you guys think I need to consider as nice to haves or things that'll make me say damn I wish I had this with me?

Thanks in advance
