I started Adapalene around a month ago and 2 weeks ado started getting redness on my cheeks. It was hot but would come in waves. I stopped using the Adapalene and after a couple of days, the redness subsided. After three days of no redness I re applied Adapalene only to my nose and then two days later the reaction came back, this time with bumps and itchiness. I wend to the derm and she said it was rosacea but I’m skeptical given that I never had any sort of redness prior to this, and the reaction only seemed to have reappeared when I applied the Adapalene. Please help!!! Could this be perioral or contact dermatitis???
