Can this love be translated is actually good
I came to see good things about this drama on Reddit because I just started watching it. All I see is “I hate it” posts 🥲. I didn’t pick up the drama for a while because I assumed it was a classic romance drama before reading the synopsis. I had nothing to do so I was like let me give this drama a try anyways, and I was pleasantly surprised. I love the concept, it feels quite new and interesting, the cinematography is amazing too.
I feel like they have done so well with the cinematography and trying something new, as well as the foreign language beside Korean sounds very natural. The whole point is that the main character is a translator but I was not convinced going in to the drama, he was going to do well with speaking other languages. Adding all the different country’s to one drama is insane feat too, and I didn’t even feel that it was done awkwardly.
It feels like a new approach to k-drama in general and the plot feels pretty solid to me. I think the casting is great, especially the main female lead. She doesn’t just feel like a pretty character in a rom com. Only thing that annoyed me was the main male leads past romance being dragged along. It was a bit too unrealistic in my opinion give all his circumstances, with his brother about to marry her, and the girl having something with Cha Mu Hee’s manager. Like not the kind of side character focus I enjoy, just because I don’t like the sister in law’s character lolol.
Anyways I hope for more k-drama’s like this and to see them pushing the boundaries even my more.
