Airtel’s "Same-Day Installation" is a pathetic scam. Day 5 and nothing but scripted lies. I want my money back.

Fuck Airtel and their absolute joke of a service.

On Saturday (May 30), I paid for a new Wi-Fi connection because these clowns advertise "Same-Day Installation." They took my money, grabbed the OTP, completed the registration, and promised it would be up and running.

Obviously, Sunday was a holiday. Fine. I didn't expect anything then.

But Monday (June 1) and Tuesday (June 2) were an absolute mental tax. I spent the last two days calling them, only to be fed the exact same scripted garbage every single time:

"Sir, it will be done in 1-2 hours."

I call back 4 hours later: "Sir, technician will arrive in 30 minutes."

At 6 PM: "It will be done tonight or first thing in the morning."

Today is Wednesday (June 3)—the 5th fucking day since they took my money—and the exact same loop happened today. "1-2 hours," "30 minutes," "first thing tomorrow." It’s now Wednesday night and surprise, surprise: nobody has shown up.

If your ground team is too incompetent to handle same-day installations, don't fucking advertise it. Have the audacity to tell customers the truth so we don't waste our days waiting around like idiots based on your fake timelines.

Honestly, if their onboarding is this dishonest, I can already imagine the nightmare of dealing with them when the internet actually goes down. I am done. I don't even want the connection anymore.

Has anyone here successfully forced a refund out of these scammers before the installation? Because I want my money back.
