Why Is Basic Decency Considered a Standard Now?

I hate when people say their standards are someone who is loyal, honest, and loving.
Honestly, these shouldn’t even be considered “standards.” They should be responsibilities that naturally come with being in a relationship.
Nowadays, cheating has become so common that people treat loyalty like it’s a bonus.
