Beginner singer trying to understand my voice better
To preface this post, I (23M) mostly sing for fun and the only formal experience I have is from elementary choir. I grew up listening to Backstreet Boys and Nsync which definitely shaped the kind of singing I gravitate toward.
I’d appreciate any feedback on what aspects of my singing I should focus on improving and any strengths I have going for me. Any feedback on my coordination/ if I’m utilizing mix voice or in head voice. I’ve seen vids on mix voice but have no clue if I’m doing it. I’m also used to singing in my upper register. Lastly, could anyone tell me if they think I’m a lyric baritone or a tenor? I’ve read classifications typically matter for classical or opera singing but I figured having an idea could help with finding appropriate videos to learn. I talk at about an A2-G2 and start to lose resonance below G2.
