the new 6,551 nominee company investigation list — anyone else's clients freaking out? 👀

the new 6,551 nominee company investigation list — anyone else's clients freaking out? 👀

work in bangkok/pattaya property and after the news last week about DBD planning to investigate 6,551 entities suspected of nominee violations, my inbox has been wild 😅 mostly ppl who set up thai company structures 10-15 years ago when this was basically standard practice, asking if their structure is under review what gets me is the timeline. ppl who did "the normal thing" back then are now scrambling, while the ones who went the condo freehold route (49% quota and all) are completely fine 🤷 curious if other ppl in the industry or just locals aware of this are seeing the same panic. or is this overblown and most existing structures will survive

TAT confirmed the 23rd Thailand Travel Mart Plus at NICE Pattaya 10–12 June. 400+ Thai sellers, 400+ international buyers, ~11,000 B2B meetings.

It's B2B, not a consumer expo. Direct lift = MICE and hotels for about 5 days. Property takes floating around are way ahead of what the data supports.

Anyone been to past editions? What stuck after event week?
