I Finally Fixed My AMD GPU Crash / Time Out Problems

İ have amd radeon rx 7600 and the last 2 months i've had black screens and gpu crashes all the time and i tried a lot of things from updating to the newest driver, which only made my problem worse, to rolling back on drivers and none of them worked perfectly. finally my solution was actually quite simple. first off a clean install of a stable driver version is CRUCİAL for me it was 25.9.1 and you NEED to use DDU. However these alone didnt fix my issues and the next step is to disable all features that amd software may have (for example chill mode fluid motions etc.) or quality mod, atleast untill you can confidently say its working without issues now, afterwards you can enable them to see if it affects your stability.

afterwards you need to be able to tune your gpu settings. i tried minimal 25.9.1 at first but it didnt fix my problems instead it made my problems uncontrollable so i downloaded the default adrealine and afterwards i made a lot of diffrent changes to my gpus settings, a custom fan curve and also 2450 mhz max instead of a 2900 mhz max and just a little less voltage. you can find what tunings you need to do from simple google searches and other reddit threads. tune your gpu to make them as stable as possible instead of the horrendous overclock adrealine does. İ recommend saving your tuning settings incase a crash occurs and amd resets them, you could try to tweak them and see what is the problem and what is the solution

if you do all of these i belive it completely fixes any problem you may have had. i am not experiencing the crashes i did an hour ago for sure and i wish i did ddu sooner. i also disabled windows auto update drivers just in case windows decides to mess with my pc.

not everyones problems are the same but these were mine and i hope this will be usefull for you
