[TOMT] [MOVIE] [HORROR] [2000s] Abstract Horror Film Forgotten

I’m trying to find an obscure experimental horror short film I saw a while ago.

I don’t remember the exact title, but I think it may have included something like “King” or “Crown,” though I’m not confident in that.

I know that the story involves two children alone inside a house. At some point, the outside world stops existing or becomes inaccessible. The children are essentially trapped inside this isolated reality. There is an entity or presence, but it is never clearly seen. The entity is, of course, nefarious and does horror movie things. The visuals are real photographs or heavily stylized vintage-looking images. The film has a very art-house/experimental feel. It is mostly or entirely still images with audio narration/sound design, not traditional animation or live-action footage. The tone is disturbing and oppressive rather than “creepy internet horror series” style. I know it is not the most common analog horrors or horrors in general for that matter. Where I found out about it was through a YouTube video/essay about horror or analog/digital horror, where it was briefly mentioned or shown for a short clip. It seemed like a standalone short film or very small indie project rather than a series. Trying to find the video mentioning it again yielded no results. It felt closer to experimental art horror films like Skinamarink-style isolation horror, but with real-photo/slideshow-like presentation and much more minimal visual motion.

If anyone recognizes this or knows similar experimental shorts in this style, I would really appreciate it! :)
