New College Grad in Woodside Feeling Alone

Hi all,

I'm a recent college graduate (22 y.o.) who just moved to Woodside-- I went to school in NYC (Manhattan) and am now working in FiDi (taking a couple gap years before law school). I ended up renting a room in Woodside right near the 7 (like directly next to it) since it was in my budget and really convenient for transit.

Does anyone have any advice for how to get more comfortable/to start connecting to the community? I really want to get better acquainted with people and to feel comfortable so I would love people's insight on the best places to go (I know there are a good amount of bars around to visit), best restaurants, or any general advice for how to start feeling comfortable. Like I said, I know it's only been a few days so of course it's going to be stressful at first, but I know myself and know I'll spiral if I don't start getting ahead on what I want to do/where I want to go.
