Flr application extension delayed- became over stayer
I have a question if you have a second to read. I have been on a family/partner route for 10 years. I have completed my 5 years and last year I was meant to submit my application for extension in June 2025. But because I wasn't working at the time I submitted a fee waiver form which was apparently accepted in July2025 but I never received their email or any letters. After calling and emailing them over the year I finally received a response from them in December stating that they already granted my fee waiver. At the time I was really happy but when I read furthermore it said they granted it in July 2025 and I received it in December 2025. So basically I became an overstayer since July 2025. I then submitted another fee waiver application in December which was refused in April 2026 and then I submitted an flr application for further leave to remain 10year route extension. I sent a cover letter also explaining my situation but I'm worried sick if they might reject my application all based on miscommunication. I've been married to a British citizen for over 10 years have 3 British children and I've lived in the country since 2005. What are my chances of my application being accepted or rejected even though it wasn't my fault. P.s when I submitted my flr application I didn't receive priority option so I just have to wait. Any help will be highly appreciated.
