Hello, I've had my ASUS TUF GAMING A15 for around 2-3 years now. I had my games in my D: drive, however as of recent, games suddenly crash.
After restarting, I received a SMART warning saying my D: drive is in bad shape, however I checked the health status and it is at 99% but the temp is at 65%. Checking around here and people say that 65% or so temp is not too bad, but what I don't understand is that when my laptop overheats, it crashes anything in my D: drive.
After the initial restart, my D: drive also becomes undetectable. I have to restart it a bunch of times until it has rested.
I also already have a laptop stand to allow more airflow. However I do my gaming/work in a hot area in our house (I only have a fan).
Do I just need to have the thermal paste replaced for this case or do I just need to move to a cooler room? The heat seems to be coming from above the keyboard, where I assume the fans are placed on.
I've also already recently cleaned out the dust in the fans, so I don't understand why I'm getting these warnings again. The other image is my CrystalDisk information of the D: drive. (It's at 55C now)
