6/9/26 Volunteer Educational Garden Cleanup at Stock Ranch Preserve
Join a group of volunteers for a cleanup at the Stock Ranch Educational Garden located behind Costco. 6/9/26 @ 9am.
This is the second session of cleanup. The garden has been overwhelmed by weeds and burrs. Your help is needed to pull weeds and clean up the garden. Be sure to wear burr resistant clothes and gloves. You can bring other gardening tools such as rakes.
This is a partnership with the Citrus Heights parks department. They only have one seasonal worker to “takes care of” the garden. There used to be a different volunteer group who cared for the garden, but it seems to have been a while.
In the future, after cleanup is complete, new plants will be added to the garden.
