I’m very much in the ATGATT camp, and currently own 2 sets of trousers - my older Frank Thomas lined black jeans , and my Furygan Apalaches adv-touring trousers. Too half I’m sorted with my Oxford Dakar mesh jacket.

The jeans are quite snug fitting but being black they get roasting hot with absolutely zero ventilation. The Furygans do have a couple of vents which don’t seem to do much, although they offer a smidgen more breathing room inside.

Are there any better options for keeping the lower half both cool and protected on these hotter riding days?
