Thoughts on this… first year brownies the leader wants to have 2 girls in the kitchen with her to make a meal/snack. While the other 2 new leaders (which I don’t care for) lead the meeting. Every meeting will be ran that way.. there’s been a lot going on with the leaders so I’m feeling torn on trusting them with my child around boiling water/ stove etc.
I’m thinking maybe we should find a better fitting troop. Not sure if that style of meeting is typical.
The leaders have drank at a girls event, 200 boxes are damaged after cookie season( hasn’t been disclosed to troop yet) and no money has been deposited for those,and troop leader and husband are paying for there memberships out of group funds and that was also never discussed.

So Girl Scout cookie season is over. I just found out that my daughter’s troop had a little over 200 boxes left. When asking the cookie manager where the cookies are or the money she said summer was crazy and they were all damaged. It’s been 4 month. Never told anyone what happened with those cookies or made any money deposits into the bank acct for those.. also at the beginning of summer a mom sent her money for some extras she sold but hasn’t deposited that money yet. .. things aren’t adding up..

Also the troop leader and her husband both had their troop membership fees come out of the bank acct but didn’t tell anyone or let the other adult volunteers do the same. Thoughts?
