Do you think Felicia moving on from Peter completely would have been better character development than continuing to have romantic feelings for him?
By the time Marvel Knights Spider-Man came out, Peter and MJ had already been married for years. I understand that some readers see Felicia's feelings for Peter as character growth, since she had previously been more attracted to Spider-Man than Peter Parker.
But personally, I think it would have been better for Felicia to move on rather than continue having romantic feelings for Peter. To me, that would have shown more growth and allowed her character to develop independently instead of being tied to Peter.
What do you think?
