I’ve been traveling for the past 6 months through South America and now Asia, and I’ve been thinking a lot about something.

Even though I’ve met quite a few people along the way, I often find it hard to form deeper or longer-lasting connections. Most interactions stay pretty surface-level, or people are already in their own groups or on their phones.

I’m also quite introverted, so while I understand small talk is part of meeting people, I usually find myself craving something more genuine and meaningful.

Sometimes it honestly makes me wonder if I’m just not really wired for this kind of modern way of connecting 😅

Where did the authenticity go?

So I’m curious:

\- Do others experience this while traveling (or even in daily life)?

\- How do you actually build real connections in these environments?

\- Or is this just how things are now?

Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences.
