Granddad's Watch
A few weeks ago my mom (91) asked if I wanted my granddad's watch. Been in her jewelry bag since his death in '95. Of course I said yes. She said her mom gifted it to him a year or two before my mom got married, so around '54 or '55. He wore it every day of my life until he died. The lens was a disaster but a little Polywatch sorted it out. Bought a new Twist-o-Flex for it since the one on it was a mess, but that's what he always wore it on. Actually keeps as good or better time than my other autos which amazes me. Just thought I'd share.
