Chicken acting lethargic and then acting normal later, please help

Hello guys, I posted here because no one replied to my post in BackyardChickens,

I have had a new hen for 2 weeks now, she's laying eggs regularly every 2 or 3 days the longest she didn't go laying is about 3 or 4 days,

She seems normal, and she has a good appetite,

But, she goes through moments in which she mouth breathes, and has clear nasal discharge and watery eyes, and after a few minutes she acts normal, also this happens after eating wet feed ( I give them wet feed now, because the only crumbles I can find is for chicks )

And today, she did mouth breath(but its not as bad as the days before) and had nasal discharge and watery eyes after eating, but I dried it up with tissues and she became normal again, and then she was acting lethargic and droopy,

I think it's a respiratory problem, what are your guys thoughts on this?

I also have been giving her and her husband garlic, mixed in with their feed, I hear it helps sick chickens,

We also have no vets 😭 near our area

Thank you for your thoughts , advice and insights

It is very much appreciated

I think my chicken has a mild respiratory infection, and when can I deworm her?

Hello guys, I had a new hen, for a about 10 days, she is a micro bantam, close to the size of a serama, but a bit bigger. Her name is Sexy.

I've been noticing that she goes through these moments where she sneezes and then mouth breathes for a bit, and her eyes and nostrils have clear snot, but I clean it up, and after maybe a few minutes shes back to normal,

She also has a parasite, I think is a tapeworm, I've been noticing in her poop, I see proglottids and segments of the tapeworm, and she's a bit emaciated,

She has a bright personality, always seeking food, and is very active,I have never seen her be lethargic. she has laid 4 eggs, one of which I fed to her and her husband-Bochokoy, as a treat.

I was wondering if it was okay to deworm her even though she has a respiratory infection? Thank you very much help is appreciated ❤️

Also I posted a post like this a few times before, just wanted to make a more detailed one, to be clear. So if you feel familiar, it's probably me hehe

Thano you again, hoping for insights and advice!!!

Is it safe to bathe my chciken in permethrin shampoo for chickens to remove lice or mites?

Hi guys, I have seen other chicken keepers in my country (Philippines) recommending this product to remove lice or mites,

I checked my hen the other day for lice, and I saw crawling,

Is this okay to use? It says to bathe the chickens in 2 gallons of water with the shampoo, I'm going to use it on bantams, if that is okay,

Advice is greatly appreciated, thank you ❤️

Hi guys, I got a new hen for my serama rooster, one of our family members also keeps bantams and agreed to let us buy one of their hens.

she seemed fine when we first saw her on the video call, and the first time I touched her a hot noon, which is also the day I bought her,she could stand.

I then played with my cousins, because we were set to go home at night , yes I'm a child.

so they kept her first in a bamboo chciken cage, then she was there for a few hours. It was very hot out so I'm thinking maybe she had a heat stroke? I didn't think she would be affected because the area at that time was a bit shaded.I know, I was wrong for this.

Thank you for your insights, in advance I'm a new chciken keeper so any help would be appreciated, thank you!!!
