Am I too sensitive when my online friend ditches me
I’ve been extremely depressed lately, and have a hard time making friends irl, so I make them online. Recently I met a guy on a game and we became real close fast, I’ve known him for 2 1/2 months now. But as if recent he’s been ditching me to gout out and drink with irl friends. I get that, but it upsets me when he goes out after promising to play games or hang with me. Yesterday I asked if he was still down to play just for him to say he’s going out again, I was extremely tired of it, and asked if he’d be back home later to which he replied “no offense but irl friend are better then online.” And I mean I get it but it still hurts when the person you consider to be you best friend to not consider you their best friend. It’s been happening more and more lately. I really want to tell him how i feel about it, but I don’t want to sound like a bitch. I just really don’t know what to do. Am I too sensitive? Any advice on what to do about it? It just feels like he hates me or I’m annoying him. Idk what to do.
