Prior weed usage and TS Clearance

Hello, I recently filled out my medical forms with my recruiter and I checked no on the drug use question. My recruiter told me to just check no since I haven’t used it a lot. Last time I used any was 4 years ago one time, and then a handful of times in high school (5-6 years ago). I have no plans on ever using it again and honestly feel dumb for using it at all in the past. I scored very well on my PiCAT and my recruiter told me if I checked yes it could affect the jobs I could qualify for and my clearance. Is that true in 2026? Reading older posts on here makes it seem like what he said isn’t the case. Surely saying no in my situation wouldn’t be the best course of action. I don’t want to be kicked out for lying in the future, so how do I go about fixing this?

Used the wrong W-2 in 2023

Hello,

In the 2023 tax year I accidentally used my w-2 from a previous year which ended up under reporting my income. I have been putting off amending it but I’m now wondering if I even am required to. The irs accepted my return in 23 and has yet to contact me regarding this difference in payment that I owe them. I feel like I should just pay it since it’s not a crazy amount ~$570 but was wondering what your thoughts are.

Edit: Thank you all for your help, I appreciate it!

Asvab without branch commitment

I’m heavily considering joining the Air Force but I kind of want to take the asvab and see what I qualify for across all the branches. Is there a way to take the ASVAB without having to swear into the DEP at MEPs? If so, how would I go about that?

Weird syncing issue

This morning I completed a race and initially it showed up in the app with all the data and everything else and now it’s gone. Still shows up on the watch under past activity’s, but it’s no where to be found in the app. I tried deleting and redownloading the app, shutting down and resetting both my watch and phone, and deleting my watch from my bluetooth list. It now shows the activity as not yet completed in the app but all my health metrics show as if I did run it like body battery, training readiness, etc. Idk what else to do with it. Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.

Trying to talk to a recruiter

I’ve gone to my closest Air Force recruiter two days in a row now and at different times (2pm and 4pm). I’ve had no luck finding anyone in the office. I know the AF isn’t dying for people right now, but is that normal? Is there a better time to go typically? Going to start calling ahead before driving there.

When to reach out to a recruiter

I graduate college in December of this year and plan on enlisting right after. When do you think would be the best time to go and talk to a recruiter to minimize the time I’m waiting after graduation?
