I am having trouble navigating whether to steal or pay film LA for locations.

I have an upcoming microbudget shoot and locked down a giggster location where I'm filming inside for two days. Our grip van is parking on private property. Do you think it would be worth permitting even though we're not on the street? There is a window that leads on to a busy street, though we can cover it up easily.

Anyway, I would love any insight on dealing with FilmLA and how scrupulous they are about these things.
