Hi everyone,
I recently booked a hostel in Amsterdam for this summer. It's a non-refundable reservation, and I just realized it required prepayment. Unfortunately, I don't have enough funds in my account right now, and the hostel already sent me an email asking for a different credit card because the payment failed.
I don't have another card, and I won't receive my next paycheck for a while.
What should I do? Will I face a penalty? Since it's non-refundable, I'm worried about losing the money or the booking entirely. Has anyone dealt with this before? Thanks!
