AITA for getting a 12-year-old German kid expelled after he misgendered me and laughed in my face?

AITA for getting a 12-year-old German kid expelled after he misgendered me and laughed in my face? Hey Reddit. I am Mela (24F), a trans woman from America. I am currently traveling around Germany, but honestly, the lack of awareness here is staggering. This happened yesterday and now my DMs are blowing up, so I need an objective opinion. The Incident I went into a popular local cafe to grab a coffee and do some journaling. The cafe was pretty packed, but there was this perfect booth right by the window. The problem? A group of local school kids (around 12 years old) were taking it up. They were not even eating; they were just playing games on their phones. I walked over and told them they needed to move to a smaller table so I could use the booth. One of the boys looked up at me, scoffed, and whispered something in German to his friends. I told him to speak English. He laughed in my face, called me "sir," and told me to find somewhere else to sit. I immediately corrected him and demanded he use my proper pronouns, but he just kept laughing. The Escalation I was shaking with rage. I am not going to travel across the Atlantic just to be disrespected by a child. I stood over the table, got in their faces, and threatened his friends, telling them they would be in massive trouble if they did not tell me who he was. One of his friends panicked and said the kid's full name. Once I got back to my Airbnb, I went into full accountability mode. I looked up his name on Facebook and found his profile. From there, I tracked down his mother’s Facebook page and the exact school he attends here in Germany. I drafted a long, detailed email to both his mother and his school's administration. I explicitly stated that this kid is a transphobe, a bully, and a far-right supporter who makes public spaces unsafe. The Aftermath The school took the email seriously. Apparently, they have a zero-tolerance policy. I received an official update today informing me that after a quick review, the boy has been officially expelled from the school. Now, his mother track down my Instagram and is spamming my requests, crying that I ruined her son's future and that he is just a child who made a stupid mistake. Why I might be the asshole: A part of me feels a little bit bad because, yes, he is only 12, and maybe getting kicked out of school will mess up his record. But honestly? I feel like I did nothing wrong. He needs to learn that fascism and hate speech have real-world consequences, and if his parents will not teach him, society will. He deserved it. So, Reddit... AITA?
