Is this set up good?

Trying to add a heat cable to my ant test tube as my room gets pretty cold, is this a decent set up for the heat cable and thermometer? These are t immigrants and the thermometer has them seeing at about t 24-25c right now. Is this level of activity good they keep moving back and forth to the heat cable I’m just concerned it’s overheating them without the cable it drops to about 19c. The corks are just to keep the tube from rolling

T immigrant egg to worker development time?

My tetramorium immigrant queen has 7 nanitics currently and laid these eggs that are now larvae as shown in the picture it took them about 8 weeks to get to this stage is this a normal timeline? I feed them egg whites every other day for protein, I don’t heat the test tube and my room sits roughly at 24-25c on average. I do own a heat cable should I set that up under the test tube?

Is this a queen ant? Detroit Michigan

Hey everyone brand new to ant keeping just found this ant outside my house after a big rain yesterday, I just got into ant keeping and can’t tell for sure if it’s a queen. If it is I’d assume it’s Camponotus pennsylvanicus? I live in the Detroit Michigan area any help would be appreciated!
