I haven’t collected cards since the 80s/90s, and have been casually following the sports cards scene recently. How is it that cards now have value? Instead of printing a million of the same card, companies are now limiting printing to 10 cards, but have 100,000 different cards of same player.

I don’t get it. How is the market not gonna crash?
