I am going to be honest, I am very worried how things are going to go in 2 weeks when my boyfriend's daughter comes home from college.
I had met her a few times, once 2 days before she left for college & we weren't dating at that point and then I saw her basically in passing while she was on Christmas break. So all very brief, with just a greeting.
Now that things are obviously more serious, I am curious how I am supposed to break the ice and form some kind of relationship with her. From the stories that he has told me about her, she seems very standoffish. I know it would be much easier to form some sort of relationship with a child bc I could play dolls or something else with them, but she is an adult. She doesn't have a mother figure in her life, and I'm not looking to come across that way either.
I'm just looking for advice on how to not make the entire situation awkward, and figure out where/how to form some kind of bond with her.
