Guy went through my phone notifications on date while i was in the bathroom..AIO?
I (28F) have been on 4 dates with this guy (31M). Friday, we were sitting at a bar after dinner and i got up to use the bathroom. I left my phone and purse sitting on the bar not thinking anything of it. Later, after many drinks, we went back to his apartment had some more drinks and were being intimate (for the first time). A few moments into kissing he paused and asked something very personal that he only would have known about me if he had looked at my phone because of a very specific app i have notifications from. The app is for something very specific that he definitely would NOT know or even guess about me without seeing it on my phone. We went right back to it but i was bamboozled trying to figure out how he would’ve known that about me and it wasn’t until the next morning laying in his bed while he was still asleep that i put 2:2 together that he had gone through my notifications.
I don’t want to share what the exact notification was because it’s very private, but I’m more concerned about the fact that he took a scroll through my notifications. Honestly speaking, is this something you’ve done to a dates phone before? Like just out of curiosity to see what they’re up to? The phone was locked so he could only see apps/contact names in my notifications, not the details of what the actual notification was. He probably wouldn’t have made the comment if we weren’t so tipsy. I’d love any opinions on this situation. TY.
EDIT: adding that the notification was from earlier that day in the morning, he had to have scrolled through my notifications. There was no notification from the app that came through during our time together.
