Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a technical post-mortem on a strange anomaly I captured a few weeks ago. I’ve been analyzing the frames and I’m stumped by the morphology of one specific trail.

Date/Time: Night of April 24, 2026. Recording ended at 23:24 (11:24 PM) IDT.
Location: Beersheba, Israel (31.25 N, 34.79 E).
Direction: Facing approx 254 (WSW), low on the horizon.
Processing: Stacked using StarTrails from an iPhone 16 Time-lapse sequence.

So, a little left and under the moon trail on the frame there is this fragmented, "shattered" looking trail that is not parallel to the celestial rotation. It appears as a series of distinct, slightly blurred "dashes" rather than a solid line..

Would love to hear the community's thoughts on this mystery :)
