I've been in a monogamous casual relationship with this guy (on & off) for over a year, and I just can't believe what happened.

Today, we decided we would see other and I would come over to his place for a movie night. Before I left, he asked if I could stop at the weed store and get something for him and sent me the money for it.

On the way over, my car broke down on the highway during rush hour. I messaged him about this, and while he was first trying to understand the situation and apologized for what was going on, he went ahead and asked "Okay so are you still able to stop at the store for me?" I then tell him, "I don't think so, I think my car might need to be towed." He then immediately cancels the transfer for the money, and said "okay, I'm sorry to hear that sucks."

So then, when the tow guy is on his way, I realized that I would need a ride back home. This guy was also having issues with his car and my brother was at work, so I asked him if it was okay that I just uber 15 minutes to his place and my brother come pick me up later. He then says "I'm not home cause I'm walking to get weed. It's all good, let just link another time. Figure that out."

I was shocked reading that message alone, and then he texts again "It's a 30 minute walk there and back." So after I message him saying, "i'll just wait for my brother to come" and waited over an hour and a half for my brother to get me. No response. No check-in. No anything.

When I got home, I told him "you know it's just so funny that you were more worried about getting weed when I was stranded on the road waiting." Then, he proceeds to say "well the thing is that my phone died on me when I left as it was 15%. but okay."

I literally just blocked him on everything immediately after... but wow did this situation just completely solidify everything. I know that he's moving back home in two months and he's been mentally checked out from everything around him for the past month, but I genuinely would rather be alone than deal with this.
