Half this sub is children, the other half are people who are 40-50, and both groups are insecure about their age.

Structuring your identity around a loosely defined age bracket is strange. Why do people have feelings about how members of different "generations" tend to act? Older people thinking young people are stupider and young people thinking old people are weird and mean has been a thing forever.
