I recently started my third ever watch through Death Note.
I'm pretty sure for kid me it wasn't until >!Light killed Naomi!< that I realised he was completely iredeemable.
On my second watch years later it was >!Lind L. Taylor!< that I thought oh wow it was really way sooner than I thought.
And on the third watch I just started in literally the first episode >!Light debates getting a second kill to test the notebook on a teenager who is just kind of a low level bully at his cram school. And the only reason he doesn't is simply because he decides he shouldn't use it on people he knows. Like holy shit the first kill he does is saving kids and teachers from a hostage taker, but then immediately is like man that kid just stole 20 dollars yeah he can die.!<
Any cases where upon a rewatch or replay of something you caught something you couldn't believe you missed the first time around?
