does anyone have experience with adopting a cat when there’s already an older cat (12 years old) at home? My husband thinks a kitten would be best but I’m worried about our cat being bothered by new kitten’s temperament. For context, our 12 year old cat (male) is declawed (we rescued him that way, but have no intention to declaw the new cat). he has lived with other cats before (his brother) but has been our solo pet for almost 3 years. any advice is appreciated!
