This might be a crybaby mad cus bad type of situation but I feel like the joy I once felt with arena breakout is kind of gone. I remember the initial release of the game a couple years ago before the official release was extremely fun and exciting. A free alternative game to tarkov that included quality of life features. The missions were simple, people were still playing valley, and there were no bot players in the lobbies. Every footstep was frightening since it was a garunteed player and money was slim with even t3 armour and weapons being sacred to me. Now I hit the event page and get flash banged by 500 gachas with misleading odds , amillion different pages that each give you 100k koen, lockdown is flooded with quick kits that no one wants to loot but still poses a threat unless your a t6 loser hunting for easy kills in lockdown. I cant even bother with missions because theres like 10 going at the same time. Theres events that occur and limited time missions during the raids. This once tarkov killer of a game just completly breaks my imersion now, it feels more like call of duty than an extraction shooter. Everyone is just jump spraying with t6 or ratting with quick kits and whenever I finally decide to come back to this game my first lobbies are filled with bots. I understand that as a casual this type of game was maybe never supposed to suit me and of course gacha mechanics were used for a free game of this caliber but it really is sadenning to me that this once "tarkov killer" seems to be withering away (at least in the NA scene). Does anyone relate to this or will I just get mass spammed with dislikes?
