I'm fairly new to all things plants and just built an herb garden this spring. I've been so excited every day to just go look at my plants and I'm really happy they all seem to be healthy and growing very well. Last night around sunset I noticed my basil plant looked like it was bending in order to orient itself toward the sun. I wondered if it moved its branches throughout the day to follow the sun so today I took pictures of the plant in the morning when the sun was in the south and in the evening when the sun was in the west. You can very clearly see how much it moved to make sure the tops of its leaves were getting as much light as possible. So cool.
